This includes a person’s physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and financial health. Addressing the whole person in mind-body-spirit can bring out the healthiest, happiest version of ourselves. A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a nurse practitioner that specializes in psychiatry and mental health, performing many of the same functions as a psychiatrist, including prescribing medication and diagnosing mental illnesses.
